Flowers on the receiving end of a proposal backlash

I'd like to dedicate this article to Mr.Bill Flowers and his soon-to-be-bride Joanna Mazzone for willingly playing out their proposal saga for all of Oxford and the world to see. Consider this my sarcastic toast to the two of you, the article that could have been if things had gone differently.

The Grove goes Green

Contrary to popular belief, there are at least a few good things to come out of Texas. One of those things is the chimichanga. The other is Pat Green and his self-described brand of "baseball cap country."
Green was born in San Antonio, but was raised in Waco.

Lights! Camera! Action! Caught up in Oscar frenzy, I'm sure everyone has seen the film Chicago in this last year. Now you have a chance to see it live in your very own backyard.
Open Range proves Costner can do a good movie that isn't about baseball

If you haven't yet had a chance to see Kevin Costner's Open Range, pack 'em up and 'git.
The title vaguely hints at the fact that this movie is a western, which is a relatively rare genre nowadays. This film manages to stir that stagnant water very well.
Starring Costner, Annette Benning and the legendary Robert Duvall, as well as a host of recognizables, Open Range starts out with a great deal of talent at its disposal.
